Looking for a sugary sweet dessert? Look no farther! These delicious blondies have a delicious sugary icing glaze and are sprinkled with pecans!
The description for these says “sugary sweet”, and let me warn you these are definitely tooth-achingly sweet! If you’re in that mood they can really hit the spot, but even I can only eat a few bites at a time. The principle of praline blondies is pretty simple. Blondie, topped with sugary pecan icing.
Tyler, my fiance, loves nuts and non-chocolate desserts, so this one goes out to him! Not that he discriminates against chocolate, just that in my family growing up, dessert was basically synonymous with chocolate, and he has had a more diversified definition in his childhood.
Let me know if you try this recipe what you think about the sugar level! I’m curious to hear others’ opinions. My friend Jackie loved them but she’s definitely a fan of the sugary sweet, so I’m not sure if others would feel the same way. Still, they’re not bad company when you’re stuck at work on a weekend!
