Maple bacon is one of those trendy flavors right now and I have to say I don’t hate it. I’ve never been a huge maple person, especially next to say, my sister who could eat maple candies until the trees came home–that is to say, forever. Though she is particular about authenticity. Has anyone else seen these strange savory “jams” that are a thing now? I won’t lie, I still think they’re a little strange. Delicious yes, strange, also yes. But I’m a fan! Especially of anything bacon. And since maple bacon is also a wondrous thing, I thought this was a great combination!
